Our "big" ultrasound was on Tuesday (dec 15) and baby is looking great! =) the tech says he looks like a boy (lol) and it looked that way to me too. So now Bailey and I are seriously outnumbered! Hehe! I told Bruce I guess that means we have to get 2 female dogs ; )

We heard baby's heartbeat today =)

So it's official, as Bruce says, we're having a baby ; )  lol  Today was my first OB appt with Dr. Syme (well it's the middle of the night, the appt was actually 12/1/09) and all went very well.  She was able to pick up the baby's heartbeat right away, along with a lot of kicking and moving around!  The heartrate was 165, so if you believe the old wivestales that would indicate a girl...we shall see!  Really all that matters is that the heart seems to be nice and strong and baby is doing well =)  Doc and I kicked Bruce and Collin out of the room when it was time for the obligatory pelvic exam, I didn't see any reason to traumatize the poor guys ; )
I should be getting a call in a couple days with the date for my ultrasound, which is supposed to be in about two weeks - give or take, I can hardly wait!! =)

too much pickle juice is NOT a good thing!

Ugh! So, I just polished off the last half of my jar of pickle juice...regrettably.  My belly is unhappy with me and I keep having to take swigs of Coke to keep it from coming back up! =(  
Lesson learned, back to small sips here and there, lol.

and I'm drinking it right now ; ) Oh come on, you all know you've tried it atleast once! My cravings for pickle juice (whether prgnant or not) always seem to catch Bruce offguard and quite obviously grosses him out, hehe ; ) But, hey, he eats that fake sushi stuff that literally makes me wanna vomit so I'd say we're even = )
Oh yea, I'm 10 weeks and 5 days pregnant today! First Dr's appt is Nove. 19th, just a week away!
