It's been a rough week!

First I guess I should update from my last appt since I totally forgot last week ;)
Everything looks good except my blood pressure is starting to creep up there.  This is pretty 'normal' for me at this point in the pregnancy, but still not a good thing.  So doc started me on Toprol XL to help lower my BP thus keeping the placenta in good shape.  Oh yea, and my total weight gain at this point is down to a whole 2 pounds! =)  Doc is happy with that so I guess I should be too!
So, Tuesday (4/6) I was driving to work and got in an accident (I rear-ended a couple of teenagers who'd pulled out in front of me, grrr).  Evidently either the stress or my belly hitting the sterring wheel (or maybe the combo of the 2) were enough to send me into pre-term labor...le sigh!  I was taken by ambulance to Reid (another grrr) and straight up to Labor and Delivery where I was hooked up to contraction and fetal heart rate monitors.  Baby looked great but I was contracting regularly so a couple hours later I was given a shot of Terbutaline which sped up my heartrate and just generally made me feel strange. (well stranger than usual I guess...lol)  I was finally released after midnight and Collin, Bruce and I were SO happy to get out of there and get home!  I didn't want to see a hospital for a very long time, little did I know what was to come.
The next day, Wednesday (4/7), I changed Collin's diaper and picked him up to take him to the couch so we could get his shoes on and pick Bailey up  from school.  I'd no more than turned around and tripped over some of his toys on the floor and we fell!  Thankfully, Collin landed on the floor and was just scared, not hurt.  I, on the other hand, crashed hard into the handle of his ride-on truck, hitting my lower ribs on the left side.Wow, the pain was killer and knocked the wind out of me!  Anyway, I called doc after getting Bailey home and she wanted me to go in to the hospital (Winchester this time, whew) and have a non-stress test.  Baby looked great again and contractions were happening but not strong or regular so I got to go home =)  My BP was whacked out so now I have to take double the dose of the Toprol XL...another le sigh.
So here I am sore as hell with some cracked ribs and hugely pregnant, not fun.  Can anyone say "CLUMSY"????  lol  I'm under strict orders to stop tripping over things and getting into wrecks! ; )
